Painting a woodland in watercolor

The key thing I have tried is to create a sense of distance using mainly washes. Have tried to resist the temptation to do a lot of work in the foreground. It is so easy to do more, to show a leaf here, a flower there. Watercolour is a medium that does not forgive any kind of overwork! What do you think?

Best viewed from a little distance.
